Remember those wooden jewelry boxes from your childhood? We don’t use those so much any more, do we? It seems you can always find them at thrift stores or estate sales. Here’s an awesome idea for putting one to work in your sewing room. Sarah from Sadie Seasongoods shows how you can repurpose an old wooden jewelry box into a beautiful sewing kit! If there’s a padded top like hers had, you can use that as a pincushion! Inside, use the small compartments and dividers to hold your bobbins and scissors and other notions.
