Steph from The Silly Pearl shows how you can make a reusable grocery tote. Besides the obvious benefit to the environment, it’s also an upgrade to the standard plastic grocery bags in terms of functionality. It’s larger than those plastic bags and has a flat bottom that accommodates boxes of food. It’s sturdier, too, and the straps are long enough to carry on your shoulder, which is a plus when you’re toting a heavy bag.
