Thank you for your comment! You’ll be happy to know that most vinyl tableclothes are layered, with a vinyl layer and a felt backing. In this lunchbag, the vinyl layer faces the outside. I would also assume that most people would be putting food into other containers before putting them into their lunchsack, just as you would do for a paper lunchsack. If you were planning on putting the food directly inside the bag, the pattern is easily altered to include a lining from a food-safe material.
