Tutorial: Reversible New Year’s banner

I’ve got a tutorial over at my personal blog, Orange Bettie, showing how to make a reversible New Year’s banner. On one side is the current year, and the other the year to come. Display it with the current year 2014 until midnight on New Year’s Eve, and then turn it over to celebrate the new year. I’ll be keeping it displayed in my house for the first few weeks of the New Year. I’m hoping the sparkly fabric will help fight the cold, gray winter blahs. I’ve included a template for the banner and all numbers 0-9 so you can make this for any year. There are also Easy, Easier, and Easiest methods for making it – including one that requires no sewing at all.
