Sarah from The Split Stitch shares a tutorial on her blog showing how to make a roll-up chalkboard and dry erase drawing mat. One side is made from chalkcloth, the other from fabric covered in clear vinyl. The dry-erase side has notebook paper lines stitched in the fabric. How cute is that! Get the tutorial.

That is such a great idea, this would be great for taking the kids on long trips and keeping them occupied. Just think, no more “Are We There Yet?”
