Debbie from Squiggly Twigs Designs shows how to make a pair of ruffle shorts, just like the ones you see in the boutique-y catalogs. These are sooo cute! They’re easy to make when you start with a favorite shorts or pants pattern (e.g., her Quick and Cute Pants), and then add a ruffle to the hem. Her example shows only one ruffle, but you could easily add multiple rows of ruffles. Get the tutorial.
