Tutorial: Scissors case

It’s always tricky when I carry my sewing scissors with me to a sewing date or class. They don’t have a carrying case and the sharp point can be dangerous to other items in a bag, or even to the bag itself. BurdaStyle shares a free pattern for making a scissors case. A large pocket in the back will hold your scissors, and smaller pockets on the front can hold a seam ripper and other notions.
