Jeska from Studio BeauVert shows how to make a pretty set of cloth napkins out of your scrap fabrics. Her napkins are mini-sized – just 9″ square – to take advantage of smaller pieces of fabric. The smaller squares are still big enough to be functional, in fact I prefer a smaller napkin when packing my daughter’s lunch as they don’t take up as much space in a lunch sack. If you want standard size dinner napkins, you can just cut larger squares of fabric.

This would be a great starter project for a school age student learning to sew 🙂 ! something useful and could come out rather pretty. Great for kids getting the hang of sewing!
