Cintia from My Poppet shows how you can use her scrap fabric twine (tutorial here) to make a spiral mat. She made a bunch of smaller mats and then joined them to make a larger cluster to make a floor mat. Or, if you don’t join them the smaller spirals can be used as coasters.
