Tutorial: Scrappy hair scrunchies

If you’re a child of the 80s, you probably remember hair scrunchies. Guess what, people? They’re back again! The fabric covered elastics are a fun shot of color and are more comfortable than a plain hair elastic. Karin from Cascade Quilts is over at Moda Bake Shop with a tutorial showing how you can make them. She uses a package of precut 2 1/2″ squares, but you could also just piece together your smaller fabric scraps. Or, for one that isn’t pieced, use a long strip of one fabric.
