Tutorial: Sew a robe from your measurements

Melissa from Blank Slate Patterns and Melly Sews shows how you can make a simple robe. You won’t need a pattern because she tells you how to cut the pieces based on your measurements. (If you’re sewing it as a gift, you can use her sizing guide to help you estimate the right measurements to use.) She shows it in velour, with beautiful snowflake embroidery around the front, but you can make one in any type of fabric. Use a silky fabric for a lingerie robe. Or use a terry cloth for a bathrobe. Or flannel or fleece for a warm robe.
