Char from Crap I’ve Made shares a tutorial over at U Create showing how to sew fabric ruffles to the butt of a store-bought onesie. It’s a simple project, but the finished project is over-the-top girlie cuteness. Go the the how-to.

Sewing your own baby clothes is very satisfying. It’s one of the precious times when we as parents get to choose what our children wear without complaint. Dressing your baby in unique handmade clothing makes for wonderful photos and keepsakes too. As children get older they can select their own fabrics and become part of the sewing process.

This is so darn adorable! I have two little nieces that I would love to try this on. Plus I know tons of moms that would enjoy them also. Thanks so much for the idea.
