Tutorial: Sew a tie for your little man

February 16, 2010 by Anne Weaver

Amber from M & A blog shows you how to make a handsome tie for your handsome little man.  The tie is attached to a velcro neckband, which means easy on/easy off.   Wouldn’t this be just the thing for his Easter Sunday outfit?  Go to the tutorial.

Mindy, I’m not sure how that’s happening. I’m able to view the tutorial and I’m not an invited reader. –Anne

Mindy, if you’re talking about the tie tutorial, the website says it is now found on http://www.veryhomemade.blogspot.com. I spent a long time also searching for a good tie tutorial. Goodluck!

I am so glad there’s another link to the tutorial!! This is the 2nd blog I came across after a google search with a link to the MA blog, but I got the “open to invited readers only” screen as well. LOL

Briana, I second everything you said! SO glad I was able to find the directions! I couldn’t even find a toddler neck tie at Jo Ann’s, so this was a life saver as well as a money saver! It’s so hard to find any ties for toddlers these days.

Sewing Pattern – DIY Beach Towel Bag

If you are like me you want an easy way to carry your towel and a few items to the beach but don’t want a bag just to hold those things.

So I came up with the idea to make a beach towel bag. This way it is a bag that can hold a few items but also function as your towel. I love it! I share with you how you can make your own beach towel bag.

This is an easy sewing project that is perfect for summer! I even made a few for my kids so they each have their own. Start sewing this fun bag today.
