One of my least favorite sewing tasks is sewing on buttons. I usually make my husband do it. Ha! I’ve realized my dislike for sewing on buttons is based on the fact that it’s hand sewing (which I don’t particularly enjoy) and the buttons tend to shift while I’m sewing them down. Erin from Sewbon shows a solution. You can sew button down with your sewing machine. No hand sewing, and because the garment stays flat whiles the button is being stitched down, there’s less chance of it shifting. Go to Sewbon for the tutorial.
