Tutorial: Sewing machine mat with pockets and scissors loop

Tonya from The Crafty Mummy shares a tutorial for making a mat to sit underneath your sewing machine. Pockets hanging at the front will hold notions you like to keep close by when sewing. For me, that’s my seam ripper, temporary marking pens, and a glue stick. There’s also a loop that will hold a small pair of scissors. I know I’m always reaching for my scissors to snip threads or clip corners.
