I can’t count the number of times I’ve been “gifted” a stack of used sewing patterns by a well meaning friend who didn’t understand that the pattern is essentially useless if it’s not complete or it’s already been cut into on a size that I don’t wear. Even though they’re not really usable as sewing patterns any more, they’re not necessarily ready for the recycle bin. You can use the tissue in other projects. Over at The Stitch, you can see one such idea, using the tissue from the pattern to create a tissue flower wreath. If you want to continue the sewing theme, you can use buttons and old bobbin cases as the flower centers.
