Vicky from Vicky Myers shows how she created this beautiful shibori indigo dyed quilt. A thrifted duvet cover was the jumping off point, and the source of the blue fabric for sashing and backing. The squares are made from white fabric, folded and dyed with indigo to create beautiful dyed designs. It’s a good project to experiment with different folding techniques, and you’ll have a beautiful quilt when you’re done!

What a great idea! I did some shibori dying with my daughter a year or so ago and have done nothing with it. I recently picked up some Moda Grunge in navy, which would be great for the sashing. Thanks for the great idea!
