Tutorial: Shirred fabric layered waistband

Denise from DIY Crush shares a tutorial for making a pretty shirred fabric layered waistband. The waistband is shirred before it’s applied to the dress. A ruffle at the bottom of the waistband gives it a layered look. She shows it added to a t-shirt dress, but this will work with any dress with a gathered skirt. It’s particularly cute when it’s made with mixed prints, as she did in her example.
