Skirting the Issue is a month-long event at SSimple Simon & Co. The goal is to encourage sewists to make skirts and donate them to girls in foster care. To inspire you, they’ve lined up 40 guest posts for the month. One of their first posts shares a handy sizing chart so you’ll know the waist and length measurements to make a skirt for girls of all ages. And if that’s not enough to get you going, they’ve also got prizes to give out, including the brand spankin’ new Singer One sewing machine. (It’s so new, it hasn’t even hit the stores yet!) Read more about this month-long sewing service event at Simple Simon & Co. And see the prizes and sizing chart posted over at Project Run and Play.
