I’m loving the neckline on this t-shirt! At first glance it looks like it’s braided, but it’s actually a simple chain stitch made from a strip of fabric. The Gilded Hare shows how to do it. This technique doesn’t require any machine sewing (aside from the jumbo chain stitches made from the knit strips), but it does require matching knit fabric. If you made your own shirt from scratch, you could use the scraps. Or, for a complete no-sew look you could purchase two matching t-shirts, and cut one of them up into the strips you need.
