Tutorial: Texture block sherpa coat refashion

November 11, by Anne Weaver. Leave a Comment

Tutorial: Texture block sherpa coat refashionJess from The Sewing Rabbit guest blogs at I Am Momma, Hear Me Roar with a tutorial showing how she refashioned a thrifted winter coat with panels of Sherpa fabric.  The Sherpa is the same color as the coat, creating a texture blocked effect (like color blocking but with different textures of fabric rather than different colors of fabric).  She complete the look, she adds a Sherpa bow at the back of the coat and a Sherpa layered collar.  And while the idea of refashioning a winter coat seems like it would be complicated, this is actually a pretty easy project.  Go to her tutorial over at I Am Momma, Hear Me Roar.
