Jess from The Sewing Rabbit shows how you can DIY a tie back sweater like this one. The deep back and bow adds a fun surprise to the back of a shirt. She starts with a purchased shirt and scoops the back out, adding long ties across the cut out. She uses a knit or mesh fabric for the ties, but this would also be a fun way to use a long vintage scarf.
