While the crotch snaps of a onesie mean that a shirt always stays tucked in, they can be inconvenient during potty training. The few seconds it takes to get everything unsnapped may mean the difference between a success and an accident.
Holly from Domestic Dork shop and blog and The Year of Sewing shares a super easy tutorial for turning a onesie into a t-shirt. It’s also a good way to extend the life of an outgrown onesie. Just cut off the bottom and turn it into a t-shirt! Because it no longer has a defined torso length, you can get another couple of months out of the shirt. Go to the tutorial.
