If you do much upcycling of old jeans, you probably have a stash of belt loops and side seams. That’s because these bits of the jeans are so thick they’re difficult to sew, but they’ve also got that fading and distressing that is so beautiful you don’t want to just throw them away. Claire from Pillar Box Blue has a great project idea to put those belt loops and side seams to good use. She uses them to make photo frames! She has a tutorial, with 2 methods for making them. There’s no sewing involved, so you don’t have to worry about stitching through all that thick denim.
