Jeanine from Jeanine Designs and Knots in Thread shows how she used a silk/bamboo yarn to finish the edges of a delicate organza top. The yarn adds stability to the neckline and allows her to trim close so you won’t see a seam allowance through the sheer fabric. The organza is actually an embroidered table topper that she turned into a gorgeous sheer cape. You can see photos of the finished cape in her shop. Go to her tutorial.
