Gretchen Hirsch from Gertie’s New Blog for Better Sewing shows how you can use piping in place of a facing. The piping is made from bias so it stretches to fit a neck or arm hole curve, and it’s narrow so it doesn’t show through a thinner or sheer fabric. Plus, you get a pop of fun color around the edge. Go to her blog for the tutorial.
