Tutorial: Vintage circle skirt with accessories
Catherine from Frisky Scissors shares a free pattern at the Pattern Patter blog for making a circle skirt with coordinating accessories from 2 yards of fabric. It’s a vintage pattern pamphlet. If you use felt as the pamphlet suggests, go for a high quality felt so it will stand up to wear. You could also use a heavy ponte knit or woven fabric with body, though you’d need to hem the bottom if you use a fabric that frays. The pamphlet also tells how to make coordinating accessories using the scraps, including large patch pockets for the skirt, removable collar and cuffs, a drawstring pouch, a button tie, and a headscarf.

So great…I think my mom made me something like this one year to wear at Christmas! Love the little pouch, too. Thanks for sharing this!
I have a crush on circle skirts. Wish I had the legs to wear them. Thanks for sharing!
