Even if pieces are missing or the pattern is damaged, vintage sewing patterns are worth hoarding just for the cover art. Sarah from Sadie Seasongoods shows how you can make fun wall art from vintage sewing pattern covers. If you’re lucky enough to have a sewing room or other dedicated sewing space, these would be so cute hanging on your wall!

Deborah says
I literally have hundreds of old sewing patterns that were my Mother’s and Grandmothers from the 50’s to the 80’s. They never threw anything away or gave it away. There are way too many to even think about trying to make wall art out of them. I would not know which ones I would want on the wall and besides, I would not want to use one of the envelopes in case none of the pieces are missing. As careful as they both were, I doubt any of them are missing. I really like some of them but they are a 1950’s to 80’s sz 6-10 and I am a 2016 sz 16/18 so resizing are not an option for me.
