April from Wildflowers & Whimsy needed to make a Wall-E costume for her son, and she wanted it to be more durable than the ones she had seen tutorials for. They involved painting a cardboard box to look like the lovable robot. Her version uses a fabric slipcover for a cardboard box. When the cardboard box gets dented and trashed, as we all know cardboard boxes will, she can just replace the box with a new one. (She uses a standard U-Haul box so she can count on being able to find a replacement when the time comes.) Go to her tutorial to see how she did it.
