Tutorial: Yellow and stripes leather bag

Jess from The Sewing Rabbit shares a tutorial showing how she made this fabulous yellow and striped leather bag. The bag design itself is quite simple, and easy to make – a rectangular leather purse with wooden handles. What makes it stand out is the triangle of black and white stripe stitched to the golden yellow. If you can’t find a piece of striped leather, you could also use a décor weight fabric for this applique. (Just turn the edges under before stitching it down.)
