Tutorial: Yo yo fabric weights
If you don’t already use pattern weights to keep your sewing pattern in place while cutting it from fabric, you really should give them a try. They are so much faster to use than pins! Michaela from Covered in Modge Podge shares a tutorial at The Ribbon Retreat showing how to make a set of yo yo pattern weights. The insides of the pattern weights are heavy washers from the hardware store. They’re covered in pretty fabric gathered up into a yo yo and embellished with a covered button.
