Betz White shows to install a tuck catch when making a bag. A tuck catch, also known as a thumb catch, is a closure with a slide on one piece and a catch on another. The slide piece pushes down to fit underneath the catch before locking into place. It’s a beautiful close that adds a professional touch to a handmade bag. The tutorial is part of her Tips For Better Bag Building series of blog posts. Go to Betz White for the video tutorial.
