Melissa from Melly Sews and Blank Slate Patterns shares a video showing how you can sew a camisole designed for women to wear post mastectomy surgery. Women recovering from a mastectomy can’t lift their arms for several weeks, which can make getting dressed next to impossible. This camisole has Velcro at the shoulders and in the front to make it easier. The pattern is by Crafting Comfort and is a Name Your Price pattern, meaning you choose how much you want to pay for it. Their suggested price is $5 but you can get it for free if you choose. All money goes to Crafting for Comfort to make and donate the camisoles to those in need. The pattern comes in women’s sizes Small to 2X.
