Natalie from HungryHippie Sews created this happy scrap rug from coiled rope and fabric scraps. Her technique for wrapping the fabric around the rope creates wide fabric patches on the back (shown above). I like the larger patches – they add a fun punch of color to the white rope rug! Her video shows how she wraps the fabric around the rope while she sews the rug. She has kits you can purchase that have rope, scraps, and printed instructions.
