Thera Joyce from Crafty Pirate shares a video tutorial showing a simple t-shirt refashion, giving it a wider neck and ruched sleeves. Widening the neck is as simple as cutting out the new neckline, no hemming required. In fact, she shows how to pull at the cut edge to make it roll. You can gather up the sleeves with hand stitches, or you can use a basting stitch on your sewing machine. Go to her video to see how to do it.
