There are few words that bring more giddy excitement to me than “vintage” and “fabric”, especially when used together. If these words do the same for you and you’re in the Little Rock, Arkansas (United States) area, you’ve got to check out the vintage fabrics offered for sale this weekend.
There will be 600+ vintage fabrics and trims offered for sale at a Roy Dudley Estate Sale in the Tanglewood Shopping Center. The fabrics mostly date from the 1950’s to the 1970’s, but there are a few older pieces and some newer decorator fabrics as well, some still on the bolt. These fabrics are offered as part of a large multi-consigner event, so there will be many other fabulous items for sale as well.
The sale starts Thursday, November 5 with a preview party to open at 5:00 pm. There will be a $10 admission (to the preview only), with proceeds benefitting the Kidney Foundation of Arkansas. Wine and cheese will be served, and all items will be available for purchase. Numbered tickets will go on sale starting at 2:00. Admission will be by ticket number order, and may be limited if there’s a large turnout.
The general sale will be Friday, November 6 (10-5) and Saturday, November 7 (10-3), and will continue each weekend through November.
The good stuff will go fast, so I’d suggest getting there sooner rather than later. For more information on this fabulous sale, visit the Roy Dudley Estate Sales web site.
