Free pattern: Girl’s convertible strap sundress

Free pattern: Girl's convertible strap sundressAmanda from Kitschy Coo shares a free pattern for this girl’s convertible braided strap sundress.  It’s an  A-line knit dress with two long braided straps that thread through loops at the back before being tied.  You can choose to thread the straps straight through the loops or do a little criss-cross with them before sending them through the loops.  Her free pattern fits kids 7-10 years old, and has finished measurements of 27″ chest circumference and 29″ length shoulder to hem.  If you need another size, the pattern is simple enough that you should be able to draft your own using a shirt or dress that fits your child as a guide.  Her pattern is part of the 30 Days of Sundresses series hosted by Melly Sews.
