Rick Rack: Thread Therapy for Sewers continues to bring you online classes featuring favorite sewing designers.  In their newest class, Megan Hunt AKA Princess Lasertron will show how to make a Felt Flower Fascinator Headband.  The felt flowers and netting have such a yummy, retro vibe!

“In the Princess Lasertron Felt Flower Fascinator Headband online sewing class, Megan will teach you some of her signature techniques that have made her one of the most popular go-to sources for brides around the world.

But, you don’t have to be a bride to “rock” this beautiful accessory. It’s great for ladies’ teas, proms, bridesmaids, or any occasion.”

In showing how to make the Felt Flower Fascinator Headband, the online class will teach you how to make a birdcage veil, as well as the basics of free motion sewing, hand embroidery, creating fringe, and embellishing with buttons.

Registration for the online class is $35, and includes the following:

  • 1 downloadable Princess Lasertron Felt Flower Fascinator Headband video demonstration;
  • 1 downloadable project instruction sheet w/step-by-step color photos (PDF);
  • Supply list; and
  • 1 hour live chat with Megan Hunt.

Registration is open through June 20, 2011.  Class starts on June 22, 2011.
