Michelle from Sew Michelle loves her duck bill scissors. She writes about them in her guest post at The Sewing Loft, part of a month long series celebrating National Sewing Month. Duck bill scissors are also called applique scissors. The funny curved shape of one of the blades is actually a safety to allow you to trim close to applique without accidentially cutting through your base fabric. I don’t own a pair of these, but after seeing photos of them in action, they’re definitely being added to my wish list! Go to her guest post to read more about her favorite scissors.
