Sewing with Kids

May 5, 2008 |

It’s that time of year again- Summer! Kids have oodles of time and nothing to do. Why not get them sewing!

About.com has some great ideas on teaching kids to sew with some fun, easy, kid-friendly projects.

Or what about these easy hand-sewn cards? If your child has a Summer birthday- these would make a great personalized project for birthday invitations.

This fabulous Travel Journal would be a fantastic project to have them do before or after your family vacation.

And towards the end of Summer, why not make a cute pencil holder to get ready for back-to-school.
