Oilcloth Addict shows how to make these handy desk dot mini chalkboards, a modern take on the old-fashioned chalkboard slate. Made from chalkboard fabric and oilcloth, they’re super quick to sew up. Keep them by your child’s desk for a quick place to jot down some addition. I’m also thinking they’d be good in busy-bags for church or other places where little ones need to stay quiet and occupied. Go to the tutorial.
