Autie from iCandy Handmade shows how to make a hand towel bib smock. It’s a baby bib that has the absorbency of a towel and the fit of a smock. It has armholes that help it stay put and also provide extra coverage. It’s open in the back, with a simple Velcro tab closure so it’s easy on, easy off. A hand towel will make a bib smock big enough to fit a toddler. You could make a smaller one to fit a younger baby by cutting the towel smaller before sewing it up into a smock.
