western_top_014Alexis from My Mama Made It refashioned a man’s dress shirt into a fitted woman’s shirt inspired by the fitted western-style shirts at Anthropologie.  The gathered sleeves paired with the slim lines of the shirt create a smart, tailored look that no one would ever guess is a refashion.   Go to the tutorial.

I’m looking for a western shirt pattern for a man and a wooman that has the fancy pointed extra button cuff closure. If you can help me or point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

    Great Site!!!

You might try looking on Ebay for vintage patterns. Even if it’s not a pattern for a western shirt per se, you may be able to find a pattern with the cuff detail you want.
