Tutorial: Vintage tablecloth Christmas lampshade

Ashlee from My So Called Crafty Life made this Christmas lampshade from a vintage tablecloth fabric. The border print on the tablecloth makes a vintage Christmas scene around the lampshade. This is a great project for a vintage tablecloth that is damaged, as usually it’s the middle portion of the tablecloth (the part that covers the table top) that ends up with stains or damage, while the edges are often undamaged. If you’re using a border print, you’ll need to make sure that your lampshade has straight (not angled) sides.
