Elisa Clark from Charming Doodle blogs at The Sewing Rabbit, showing a quick little project you make out of your smallest fabric scraps. She fuses them with heavy interfacing and creates these fun little fabric butterflies. They’re cinched at the middle to give the wings dimension. She shows them used as hair accessories and as wall decor. I bet they’d also be cute on a canvas, or as an embellishment on a simple zippered pouch. You can cut your own template, or use the one she provides in the tutorial. Go to The Sewing Rabbit for the how-to.
