Simi from Buttons and Paint shows how she used the tiniest of fabric scraps – the ones that normally there’s nothing that can be done with them – to create a new piece of fabric. She cut them up and stitched them down to another piece of fabric. It’s artistic and colorful and textural. Of course, you could do this with more muted tones, too. And what would you make with the new piece of fabric? She’s thinking her piece might become a journal cover. It would also make a nice throw pillow cover or a purse front. What a great way to use scraps in a creative way.
