Celina from Petit a Petit & Family is over at The Sewing Rabbit today with a tutorial showing how to make this mini backpack. The square shape is a good shape for a school pack, and the scale is right for a smaller child. A pocket on the front will hold pencils and other smaller items, and a pair of short handles makes it easy to grab up and carry in your hands. (There are also shoulder straps to carry it as a traditional back pack; you just can’t see them in this photo.) Go to The Sewing Rabbit to see how to make the mini backpack. If you’re wanting to make one in a larger size, she’s got a tutorial for that on her own blog.
