“Sewing Love: Handmade Clothes for Any Body” was a true inspiration for me! I have always been fascinated by the idea of sewing my own clothes, but the thought of using commercial patterns or fitting my garments to a specific body type was daunting. This book completely changed my perspective. The author, Sanae Ishida, takes you on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and radical kindness through sewing.

I was blown away by how easy it was to draft patterns that fit my unique body measurements and make garments that were comfortable and stylish. The step-by-step instructions, illustrations, and heartwarming personal essay made the process so enjoyable and fulfilling. And the bonus lookbook with photos of diverse models wearing the projects was a fantastic touch that showed me how versatile these patterns could be.

I am now confident in my sewing skills and am thrilled with my new capsule wardrobe. This book was the perfect guide for anyone looking to learn how to sew, no matter their level of experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to expand their skills, love their body, and create beautiful, handmade clothes.
