I used plastic coated garden wire. When I ran out I went to the hardware store and bought plastic coated electrical wire. That has been the least expensive and words very good.

I I use Chenille Pipe Cleaners. I give them a good pre-wash and to date have not had any rusting issues. I fold the pipe cleaner in half. If provides a good seal along the nose and cheeks, and is comfortable for the wearer.

For anyone making mask with nose wire: I purchased the bands that are used to close bags of coffee (after the first opening). Since I had to buy in quantity, I have plenty to share. If you PM me on Facebook, we can work out to get some to you.

I use 1” x 3” pieces of foil from the bottom of disposable foil baking trays. I fold them twice lengthwise so that I have strips 1/4” x 3”. They are very strong and flexible.
