Free pattern: Felt Christmas tree, plus a printable for miniature felt ornaments

It’s Christmas in July at So Sew Easy!  Deby shares a free pattern for making this felt Christmas tree, as well as a free printable for making a set of miniature felt ornaments to decorate it.  The 3-d Christmas tree is made from cardboard covered in felt, with buttons and brads to hang ornaments from.  Her free printable is a set of images to print on to iron-on transfer sheets.  Iron them on to white felt and they’ll sew up quick.  Her printable includes images in two sizes – miniature and full size – so you can make a set for an full sized Christmas if you like.  Go here to get her free Fab Felt Christmas Tree pattern, and go here for the printable and tutorial for making the miniature felt ornaments.

This is lovely, thank you for sharing!

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!

It’s the sort of bag that is versatile enough to be used for lots of applications, not just cosmetics and toiletries. Keep all your pens and pencils in order, use it for a small first aid kit for the car, keep it in your desk at work for a few headache pills and other personal supplies.

Make some for yourself, for gifts or to sell.
